My youngest sister, Kristin, was diagnosed with Leukemia at age 2. This year we celebrated not only her high school graduation, but her 14th year off of treatment. In addition, she has begun college classes towards earning a degree in nursing and has been working in home health care to gain more experience. I am lighting up gold for Kristin in honor of her resilience from the past and in hopes for her bright future.
