At age 13, our son Charles was diagnosed with a rare form of metastatic papillary thyroid cancer. Almost 6 years later, Charles sees his diagnosis and survivorship as a gift of life and one he intends to live well. He’s our hero, our motivator, and our reason we advocate for ALL pediatric cancer patients and their families!
